Today is White Day.  It’s celebrated in Japan and Korea exactly one month after Valentine’s Day.  Usually on V Day, the girls will dote on the boys and give gifts of chocolate, candy, etc…while on White day, it’s the boy’s turn to dote on the girl…and in three-fold!   Yay me. 

Matt wishes he knew all this before marrying me…he says I come with too many stipulations.   Also, since my mom is older, she still follows the Lunar calendar when celebrating her birthday…and because she’s wacky, on top of everything else, she celebrates her Julian birthday too just for the “free dinner on your birthday” gimmick.   I tried to say the same thing but it didn’t fly. 

At least I have White Day!
